We are committed to ensuring that every student makes excellent progress, this concept stretches well beyond academic performance and is the core principle of our Academy ethos, Empowering Learners for Life.

Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education is a subject through which students develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, now and in the future.  It helps children and young people to stay healthy and safe, while preparing them to make the most of life and work.

Our PSHE curriculum is not limited to the Department for Education's compulsory Relationships and Sex Education content.  We are proud to offer a broader PSHE programme, which is planned to cover citizenship, economic wellbeing, careers and enterprise education, as well as education for personal safety, including assessing and managing risk.
