Here at The Orme Academy we take pride in the range of support services on offer. In the first instance we encourage students and their parents to contact their form tutors with any issues relating to wellbeing and welfare. Within each year team we have a Head of Year and a non-teaching Pastoral Support Officer who will then triage requests for support to ensure that the right services are offered. Our SEND and Safeguarding Teams may also be involved at this stage, enhancing our in-house expertise. Sometimes we may need to access external support which we also offer on site. This includes emotional coaching, counselling with Younger Minds and more bespoke referrals for students with more complex needs.

Emergency support out of school hours or during school holidays is available from Staffordshire Children's Advice and Support Service 0300 111 8007 if you think someone needs immediate help or are in danger.
